🏫 General Information About the University

Founded in 1992, İYTE is a public university that offers undergraduate and graduate programs only in engineering, science, and architecture. It is recognized as one of Turkey’s most research-focused universities and is especially known for its strong performance in engineering and basic sciences.

Minibuses from Fahrettin Altay district terminal go directly to Urla / İYTE.

1. KYK Dormitory: Located inside the campus, with separate buildings for male and female students.
2. Private Dorms: Some private dormitory and apartment options are available around Urla and Güzelbahçe.
3. Off-Campus Living: Students who don’t stay in dormitories usually rent apartments in nearby districts such as Urla, Güzelbahçe, or Seferihisar.
